Liberty Reserve is still under a DDoS attack. This attack is so massive that our defense system has shut down the link to protect the other parts of the system.
We battle DDoS attacks almost on a daily basis. Our system has proven to be successful in stopping 95% of these attacks. Our technical team is working double shifts to stop this attack.
We are also working on implementing a third party DDoS mitigation protection to handle any future DDoS attacks.
Please be patient and allow us to continue working on the solution to this problem.

You guys should think now for better DDoS protection like prolexic or something even better if you wanna do the business seriously & wanna see your PP on top! Its quite obvious that you'll get even more strong attack in future along with the increasing popularity. So take the step ahead!

Roky If I remember well Alexa is not counting traffic on SSL and on the other hand How can ALEXA traffic getting enormous if the site is down .or do you think the zombie computers have Alexa bar installed ........

With this long downtime, i hope LR will be stable once the site is up.
I hope your team is working hard background to curb this massive DDoS attack.I don't mind waiting if it's for good.As i said before i will always support LR.
But i still REALLY hope Michelle can post an update everyday to calm everyone.
I am sure things will get back to normal soon. DDoS attacks are not easily cured when they happen and obviously there is a group out there that have it in for LR being a great online payment system.

i don't think it's a ddos atack. there is enough one day to solve this problem in most cases. not 4 days...
DDoS attack is hard to explain.The attack can be controlled in one day to one week, depending on how powerful that attack.
Those hackers got paid $7000 to DDoS LR.I can't imagine how powerful the attack with that cost!!
You should look at Black Lotus' "BLCC Mitigation Critical" product. This product has maintained 100.00% uptime on serious DDoS attacks, continually outperforming Prolexic in all metrics including overall cost.
I am an investor dependent upon LR for my transactions. Yet, I would like you to come out with the BEST security system to help us grow better.

Why don't you reply to the email threats and ask them for the e-gold account to send the ransom payment to, then WORK WITH e-gold to identify their account and get the authorities involved to catch these low-life morons?
Liberty cant be opened again! How many days do you need to fix all of this mess ? a week, a month or a year ? Hope it wont be for long.
